Spinach Recall

Possible contamination in 39 states


Check the fridge. There’s been a spinach recall due to possible E. coli bacteria contamination in 39 states.

The organic baby spinach originated from Taylor Farms Retail Inc. of California and is being sold under five brand names. The “best by” date on the potentially affected packages is Feb. 24, 2013.

The spinach is sold under the following brand names: Taylor Farms Organic, Central Market Organics, Full Circle Organic, Marketside Organic, and Simple Truth Organic.

Taylor Farms is voluntarily recalling the product. The prepackaged spinach was sold in the following states:
