Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
- 16 ounces (1 1/2 cups) canned or pureed pumpkin
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs
- In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients
- Stir into creamed mixture until just combined (don’t over stir!)
- Pour into two greased 9-inch loaf pans
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until inserted knife comes out clean.
