Homemade Rose-Scented Lotion

 

Hydrosols (also called flower waters) are a byproduct of the distillation process that extracts essential oils from plants. They offer a gentle form of aromatherapy. 

  • 1 c rose hydrosol
  • 2 tsp glycerin
  • 4 to 8 drops of rose essential oil 

Directions:

  1. Combine in a jar, shake well to blend, and refrigerate to keep it fresh.
  2. Apply liberally to hands, arms, elbows, feet, and knees to keep skin refreshed and supple.
