If you love chocolate, you will adore this smoothie. Super-packed with nutrients and overflowing with chocolate flavor, this creamy blend offers a bona fide healthy excuse to have chocolate at any (or every) meal.
10 minutes prep time Makes 2 16-oz servings
- 1/4 c large Medjool dates, pitted (about 3-4 fruits)
- 2 Tbsp mashed avocado
- 2 Tbsp cacao nibs
- 1/4 c cacao powder
- 3 Tbsp hemp protein powder
- 2 tsp maca powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 c coconut water
- 1 c ice
- Sweetener, to taste
- Blend all the ingredients, except the ice, until smooth.
- Add the ice and blend once more until frosty. Taste, and adjust sweetness as desired.
