Oatmeal with Apples, Walnuts, and Cinnamon

Pop these ingredients in the slow cooker and let it cook overnight!

10 minutes prep time plus 7-8 hours slow cooker time  |  Serves 8

What You Need

  • 8 c water
  • 2 c steel-cut oats*
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 c chopped apple
  • 1/2 c chopped walnuts
     

Directions

  1. Stir together water, oats, cinnamon, and salt in slow cooker crock. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours. 
     
  2. Before serving, top each bowl with some chopped apple and walnuts. 
     

*Do not substitute regular rolled oats.
