10 minutes prep time plus 7-8 hours slow cooker time | Serves 8
What You Need
- 8 c water
- 2 c steel-cut oats*
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 c chopped apple
- 1/2 c chopped walnuts
- Stir together water, oats, cinnamon, and salt in slow cooker crock. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours.
- Before serving, top each bowl with some chopped apple and walnuts.
*Do not substitute regular rolled oats.
