Nut-Flavored Hemp Milk
In partnership with Natural Vitality
- 3⁄4 cup hempseeds
- 4 cups water
- 2 Tbsp agave nectar
- 1⁄8 Tbsp Kosher salt
- Add ingredients to FourSide or WildSide Blendtec jar in order listed and secure lid.
- Select "Whole Juice."
- For commercial-style hemp milk, strain milk through nut milk bag or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
- Serve or store in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
With a rich and nutty flavor similar to that of sunflower seeds, hemp seeds provide an appropriate 3:1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids. Hemp also contains all the essential amino acids, which are a vital component of a healthy diet because our bodies don't make those amino acids.
