Tuscan Vinaigrette

Olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, salt, and black pepper

Makes 1 cup


  • 14 cup red wine vinegar
  • 34 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 small shallot, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste


  1. Whisk together vinegar and oil.
  2. Add shallot, garlic, and basil. Mix to combine.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
