The Fast Track One-Day Detox Diet by Ann Louise Gittleman ($21.95, Random House, 2005)
- 2 cups mixed green lettuce
- 2 celery stalks
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1 cucumber
- 1/2 garlic clove, minced (optional)
- Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime
- Cut lettuce, celery, spinach, and cucumber in small pieces.
- Place veggies and garlic, if using, in food processor or blender. Process or blend until liquefied.
- Add lemon or lime juice.
- Drink immediately.
